Uterine Cervical Cancer database is the first annotated multimodal dataset designed to automatically detect Uterine Cervical Cancer (UCC) using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The prognosis of this cancer is closely related to the extension of the tumor to neighboring organs and Lymph Nodes (LNs). Currently, MRI can non-invasively identify the extent of the tumor and help to establish the tumor stage which allows to determine the most appropriate treatment. UCC tumor exhibit intermediate signals on T2-MRI. Acquisition in sagittal and axial planes is enough for staging in most of the cases. On the other hand, diffusion weighted-MRI improves the detection of LNs metastasis.
The dataset collected from a gynecologic oncology referral center (Maternity Center of Monastir, Fattouma Bourguiba Monastir University Hospital) acquired between January 2016 and December 2017. All data sets were analyzed and manually segmented by an expert.
